Welcome to the web pages of Meido-Kan Karate Espoo. We are a nonprofit karate practising society that belongs to the Finnish and World Karate Federation. We practice Shoko-ryu karate (Finnish style developed from Shorinji-ryu) in Espoo at Tapiola Mankkaa sports hall and Finnoo school (see maps and times in Finnish).

Our members range from beginners to former European champions and from youngsters to retired. Besides ordinary karate lessons we have separate lessons for family karate where parents and children can practice together. However the spring 2010 basic course will be for ages 13 and up. All our coaches speak English. However, some Finnish vocabulary helps practising with us.
